The Magpie Emporium, Monday [09/06]

The store was never not at least a little bit ready for Pride, but the big box of decorations had been slightly belatedly but enthusiastically been dragged out of storage and set up about the store, with more flags hung out and the pin displays and themed sets of dice put out in an even more prominent spot than usual.

Like last week, Vi had the model paints out, but today she was touching up Little Bot's rainbow paint job and mostly ignoring the half-finished and in her opinion not very good sketch she had in her notebook.

Monday: Covent Garden Flowers

Nell had a busy morning tracking down some exotic flowers from a man who wanted to impress his girlfriend. She'd tried to suggest that buying a set of super expensive and fragile orchid plants, might not be the best choice, but he was having nothing to do with her suggestions, so...

She was on the phone explaining the situation to one of their suppliers. It was taking a while because he was laughing so hard.

She'd be glad of a break later on.

For a brief moment, Summer was slightly thrown off by the cheese panda wearing a nametag. Not only that, but also what the nametag actually said.

"Do not," she said firmly, "tell me that this whole time, your name has been Earl."

Earl the Cheese Panda? Ridiculous. No. She refused to believe it.

Thankfully, her doubt proved to be well-founded, because he was only Earl for National Earl Day. Apu was also wearing a nametag that said Earl, and wouldn't you know it, he also had one for Summer.

"....fine," she said, taking it with a sigh and only because he'd made it very pink and sparkly and so it was pretty funny, actually.

IX Serendipity Place- early Monday morning

Jaina was up early in the living room, sitting on the sofa and working out what class was going to be for today since it had been a little hard to do that this weekend. Not that she didn't know how these things worked.

As expected, Jag came in the front door, looking pretty damn broody. He stood there for a second, like he hadn't counted on Jaina being right there.

"We're not talking about it," he said.

"Never talking about it," she agreed, watching as he nodded and walked into the next room.

She'd give him a whole five minutes of not talking about it.

The Photo Hut; Monday [06/09].

You know, as far as these weekends went, Prompto was feeling glad that he didn't wake up in absolute and utter pain from his legs wanting to fall off or his back aching from biking or rolling around the island all weekend. But there was still a negative side-effect of having been the personification of a shower over the last few days: it made him feel really awkward when actually faced with the prospect of a shower that morning.

And so as he was sitting there at the computer, working on touching base with his back-up photographer and figuring out how best to explain why he couldn't follow through on his gig that weekend (he had a contingency partner on the mainland for exactly these reasons!), he would occasionally stop and wrinkle his nose and lift up his arm for a deep breath to make sure he wasn't smelling to...uhh...ripe due to not having showered that morning. Which was going to be an issue if he was already feeling pretty gross having just skipped today's. But he couldn't even think of a shower without then hearing Johnny Splash's drawling honky-tonk voice in his head, commenting on it.

Maybe he could just splash around and clean up in the ocean? He'd dealt with worse in the past! Surely, he'd figure something out!

Infinite Consortium, Monday

So the weekend had been very weird, ~~even if all of Sunday's planned posts had been devoured by mandatory social~~ but it was hardly the first time the island had been swept up by that kind of nonsense. At least she hadn't been a squirrel again.

But Monday had rolled around and she was thankfully herself again (less sweet innocence and more tit, thank Gaea), and Liliana was quite pleased to focus on the other sweeping changes that had occurred the week prior. Her new ring sat comfortably on her left hand, every So often catching the light and shimmering like a thousand golden suns.

Ugh, she was being sappy and sentimental. She might have to commit a few war crimes to set herself back on an even keel.

... But it really was a pretty ring, wasn't it?

The Roof of The Weirdly Tall For The Island Aesthetic Stark Tower - Sunday Evening

Harry had not found anything out about how or why he ended up here. And doors just randomly locked on him, proving that someone (JARVIS) was pulling the strings like some kind of insidious puppet master.

Which meant he ended up on the roof through a series of doors that weren't locked.

Upside? There was a whole fridge full of cheese and wine and also a hot tub. So guess who was getting white girl wasted in the hot tub. This guy.

Flash had finally made it to the lobby of this building he'd woken up in! At this rate he'd be at his desk at the Department of Mammal Vehicles right on time when it opened on Monday Morning. He loved it when he was on schedule.

Look at him go! Such blazing speed! You know, for a sloth.

Stark Industries- Sunday

Did Rey actually know she was supposed to be at work right now? Probably not! But she was here, even if she couldn't really do anything because she couldn't hold any tools with her hand shape.
