Vail Ski Resort | Sunday Morning, 10/17

The Fandomites' last morning in Vail dawned cool and clear, the resort warm enough to get by with a light jacket, the slopes above frosty and crisp.

The portal back to Fandom would arrive after lunch, so now was time for packing, last-minute souvenir-shopping, or one final lift up the mountain to the wonderful land of snow-sports.

Or alternatively, freaking the heck out in your hotel room because Fandom knows no boundaries of distance or decency when it comes to attacking its current and former residents in their sleep to leave ladybits where manbits used to be, and manbits where... you get the picture.

So might the maid, if you forgot to leave the Do Not Disturb sign out.

Karla was not going skiing today. She didn't trust her center of gravity to not go flinging herself down a mountainside.

"Julian is the stupid male who I sort of claimed last time I was in Kaeleer," she said with a huff, flinging herself onto her own bed. "He has your face but could use your manners."

"Ugh!" Karla made a face. "Even if I do let him into my Court, he most certainly wouldn't be allowed in my harem. I want to hit him on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and tell him to go lay down until he can behave himself in public."

"If I can't, I'm tossing him out on his ear," Karla grumped. "Taming Glacia's going to be hard enough without having to fight my own Court to do anything."

She blew out her hair, only belatedly realizing she didn't have the bangs for it anymore. "Rosto?"
